Edges of textblock somewhat age-tanned and foxed. Illustrative endpapers of children reading heavily foxed. School library stamp on front pastedown. Small pencil marks and smudging throughout. Foxing present across text. Damp stain on title page. Full color frontispiece entitled “The Bread of Life,” as well as full color illustrations throughout.
