About This Item

Signed. First Edition. Fine / very good. Inscribed in Cherokee. Husband and wife authors are Cherokee and some of the few who still are fluent in the language. Stories about birds, animals, monsters, tricksters, humor and origins. Their interviews were done over 60 years ago, so a lot of the first hand accounts are gone. Book is in fine, unread condition. The dust jacket has a 1" tear at the bottom front and some edge wear. Both authors have signed, with a non personal inscription, in Cherokee, on the front free end page.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
