About This Item
First Edition. Fine / fine. Frisco is in Collin and Denton Counties, north of Dallas. The fastest growing city in Texas as of 2002, and it's kept growing since then. It went from 6000 in 1990 to 33,000 in 2000 to over 200,000 today. The American Train Musem is there along with the headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Stars, F C Dallas Soccer, the Southland Conference and who knows what else. Begun in 1902 when the railroad come through. It was pretty much just farms until the 1980's. Being an old Dallas guy I remember driving through there and there wouldn't be a single solitary thing up there. Lots of family stories and archival photographs. A very attractive, well researched book in fine, gently read condition.
