chicago: jansen mcclurg and co., 1883. Hardcover. Very Good. red cloth boards heavily decorated in black and gilt embossed. Spine ends frayed and spine is a bit yellowed and has some small scuffs, corners a little worn but looks very nice. previous owner bookplate in front, inside hinges paper split but holding well. previous owner on front end page Mr. Gleed with date nov. 22 82. book block is solid and contents are in excellent shape.
