Simla: Government Monotype Press, 1908. 1st . Hardcover. Good. First printing, numbered No. 200 in gilt on the top-right corner of the leather binding. Stamped in red: "For Official Use Only" on title page. Pp. 461, 6 folding maps tipped in, appendices, large folding map in rear pocket, as called for in the index, quarto format in three-quarters calf binding, dark green linen boards, gilt spine titles on 2 leather labels, raised bands. A firmly bound copy, all original with no repairs. The front tips are worn, but not too bad. The green cloth a is a bit stained at the rear. The backstrip is in an excellent state. Internally there are no tears, no owner's names or markings to the text. The map is Nearly Fine with virtually no wear. A very presentable copy of this rare item. We have 3 other volumes from this series.
