J Marvin Hunter. Bandera, Texas., 1923 Group of 91 issues of FRONTIER TIMES in the 1972 or so reprint editions. Each magazine about 8 by 10 1/2 inches with usually 32 to 48 pages each. Illustrated. The first issue of the group (December, 1923) shows the date of 1972 inside the rear cover; a few later issues show the date 1973. I believe all of the remaining issues are exact facsimiles with no dates other than the original (I did not check every issue). Fourteen of the issues are duplicates. Some 37 are in the original mailing envelope. Issues are as follows: 1923-1; 1924-3; 1925-12; 1926-16; 1927-12; 1928-14; 1929-15; 1933-3; 1934-8; 1935-7. Duplicates are as follows: 1926-4; 1927-2; 1928-4; 1929-4. One issue with top edge wear; the issues in the original mailers tend to be in FINE condition; other issues in VERY GOOD condition. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find groups of these reprint editions--of course the originals are very scarce. Language: eng Language: eng Language: eng. 2nd Edition.. Soft cover.
