London: J.S. Virtue & Co., Limited, 1891. 1891-94. Three volumes bound into six books. With 43 full page tissue guarded chromolithographs and three colour title page vignettes, numerous black and white illustrations throughout. Occasional light foxing. All edges gilt and all uniformly bound in the original green decorative cloth with black and green blind stamped illustration and titles, gilt spine titles. All volumes with light scuffing (Vol. II with more scuffing than the others), thin bumping to head & foot of spine. Soft rubbing and light bumping to corner tips. Bindings tight albeit a couple volumes ever so slightly askew. 29cm. Attractive set.. First Edition. Hb. VG/None.
