This is a 1977 limited edition compilation of A Fuertes Portfolio of Texas Birds: the Color Plates from the First Edition of "The Bird Life of Texas". 36 paper 11"x 8" paintings are by Louis Agassiz Fuertes, text by Harry C Oberholser. Slipcase contains loose leaves comprised of full-color plates and text. This was a limited edition release; number 92 of 750 sets. Signed by Edgar B Kincaid, Jr. Slipcase is in very good condition; some wear to it, and stamp on the spine has been partially torn. US media mail for shipping.
