Blue cloth with gilt titles & vignettes on front and spine, light edge wear and some rubbing, discoloured lines on rear, frontispiece (tissue protected) + 7 b/w plts by J. MACFARLANE, some internal foxing and a few other marks, some of the plates are a bit ragged on the edges, g. 8vo, 253pp + 2pp list. Probably an early reprint, 1st pub 1909.
