Stiff color pictorial wrappers, purple silk thread bound spine, very good, clean, solid, 15 x 10.5 cm.,English text, 3 double-fold out photos+ 12 b.w. collotype photos, 19 points of interest. RARE ITEM ! . *** **** *** . . A LOVELY & QUAINT GUIDE TO MIYANOSHITA & ENVIRONS . . . NICELY PHOTO ILLUSTRATED WITH 3 LARGE FOLD-OUT PHOTOS . * This nice guidebook was given to visitors staying at the Fujiya Hotel. It guides guests to 19 famous sights and outlines the details of each famous landscape and panoramic vistas. Texts in English. . *** Color photos are posted to our website. . *** CONDITION: The book is bound in the original color pictorial stiff wrappers with purple thread tied spine. There is a touch of old minor damp, with pages somewhat warped. Pages 18 & 19 show a bit of 'adhesion' with a small bit of loss to some words, not of major impact. Otherwise the book is firmly bound, clean and solid. No other issues. . Seldom found, this remains an early and obscure example. There is a fine-line written comment on the first page of text, reading: "May 2, 1913 Grand mom." & also on the photo with title: "Cryptomeria" a penned note: "These trees green so high and so grand." Else no other issues. . Pocket size, easy to carry. . * .
