Good. 4to, pp. 506, plus four page addition, 'Napoleon Buonaparte, His Illness, Death, and Funeral, extracted from Hewetson's Life of Napoleon Buonaparte, 17 (of 18) plates,(missing is bust length portrait of Wellington), fold out coloured map of the battle, in rebound full leather, retaining original boards and spine, interior with owner's name to reverse of frontispece, some foxing and browning of page edges throughout, some plates pasted onto new pages, binding tight. This was an inexpensively produced book in the first place and suffers accordingly. This is a heavy book and will attract extra postage. Please contact us before ordering to obtain a quote.
