Concord, NH: New Hampshire Historical Society, 1982. Softcover. VG. Whtie wraps with color illustration. 64 pp. 58 bw repros. Catalogue of an exhibition held Oct. 15 to Nov. 28, 1982. Shapleigh (1842-1906) was both a portrait painter and a landscapist whose work is based in large part in the northeast. He is particularly known for his White Mountain scenes. Contains a six page essay by Charles O. Vogel, a five page essay by David Tatham, chronology and bibliography. Catalogue lists 59 works.
