Thomas Jefferson's direction to the Captains on endpapers. Excellent new research combined with historical data documenting the Coprps of Discovery's November 7 throgh December 7, 1805 winter encampment in the lower Columbia River area. A very clean and most presentable un marked copy. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
