Plum colored cloth boards with debossed gilt stamped motif on front cover, gilt lettering on spine. End papers illustrated with a cultural map of the Pacific.
Account of one of the most extensive and valuable collections of Pacific artifacts. Illustrated with excellent b/w photographic reproductions representative of the comprehensive collection assembled by A. W. F. Fuller. Interestingly the collector never set foot onto the islands that played such an important role in his life. Includes bibliography and index at rear. Dust jacket with minor rubbing to extremities. Spine with minor smudging. Back cover with small closed tears, creases and abrasions. Very minor staining to covers. Gilt motif with minor blemishes. Minor age toning to interior pages, not effecting images. Dj in very good-, binding and interior in near fine condition overall.
