New York: Hastings House, 1941. Hardcover. Very Good/fair. 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 in. viii, 116 pgs. Memoir of working with elephants in the circus. Signed with cordial dedication by Kelley, in blue ink on half title pg. Gray cloth boards with red lettering on cover and spine. Photo endpapers. Numerous B&W illus. Condition of book is VERY GOOD+ ; slight bumping to corners and ends of spine, no edge wear, covers extremely fresh and clean. Binding tight, text perfect. DJ condition is FAIR ; front flap missing, price not clipped at back ($2.00). Edges chipped and worn, open tear base of spine, several small closed tears, large closed tear along spine, slightly faded with a few stcker marks, but not bad and well protected now in a new Mylar wrapper. Great photos of the days when circuses really laid on the big animal acts. Memoir. RGR.
