Biography of one of the most famous and popular entertainers of the first half of the 20th century, Fania Borach, known professionally as Fanny Brice (1891-1951). With a craeer that spanned four decades, Fanny was a hit in almost every branch of American show business---burlesque and vaudeville, drama, musical revues (including nine Ziegfeld Follies), film, and radio. She was most widely known for her radio characterization "Baby Snooks". Hre life was the basis for the Broadway and movie hit "Funny Girl" both starring Barbara Streisand as fanny.
