A flat-signed presentation copy by the author pilot to the title page. The inscription in biro reads, 'For Patrick with Best Wishes Richard Haine'. A lovely, fresh, clean, tight near fine collectors condition. Haine who shot down two German Junkers during the war was heavilly involved in his post-war flying with the developements of jet-powered fighters and sophisticated new weaponry. A light or slight bump to the tail of the spine. The wrapper has not been price-clipped and remains in lovely condition. A super scarce signed copy.
