Illustrated octavo, pp xlviii, 435, a folding map at the rear (one marginal tear otherwise very good), lacking the frontispiece and the front endpaper, the front hinge very weak and cracked, the rear hinge cracked and glued, otherwise only slightly weak internally with occasional light foxing and age-toning, original green decorated cloth, dull rubbed and a bit worn, the spine peeling and missing small pieces at head and tail. The first edition is very scarce. . First Edition. Cloth. Poor.
