Blue coloured boards with embossed author's initials to the lower right-hand corner of the front panel and gilt titles to the backstrip. Bumping and discolouration to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners. Browning of the text block edge. Light age toning to the internal text. Colour Illustrated dustwrapper [wraparound), by Francis Russell Flint, with white titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and chipping, to the backstrip edges and to be dustwrapper corners. Heavy rubbing to either side of the backstrip and to the fold over creases and lighter rubbing to the book panels. There is a 0.75 "tear to the top edge of the front dustwrapper panel and a 1.25 " tear to the top left-hand corner of the same dustwrapper panel. A0 .5 " tear to the top edge of the rear dustwrapper panel and a 0.75 " tear to the lower edge of the front dustwrapper panel which has associated creasing. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. When an unexpected Gale catches the merchant Marine ship Atlantic Whipper still 200 miles off land, the Captain makes a call for other ships to rescue his crew and passengers. Once alone in his ship, Captain Matthew Harkness, has the task of fighting the sea and the Gale to keep the ship afloat. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
