Catalog documenting a series of performances and action art events in 1974 as part of the project "Municipal Passage I," which sought to "[import] artistic activities into the life of the municipal body confronting art inspired by ordinariness with life itself." Galeria Repassage (Repassage Gallery) was one of the most important sites of the Polish neo-avantgarde and counterculture of the 1970s. It saw numerous exhibitions devoted to conceptual art and performance. Like many galleries of the period, it was physically located in a building that was part of a university, in this case Warsaw University, and it was closely associated with the academic community as well, particularly the faculty and graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts. At the time of this issue, the gallery as managed by El&#380;bieta and Emil Cie&#347;lar. The gallery was closed following a general strike of the students and the imposition of martial law in Poland. Among the artists participating in "Muncipal Passage" were Jerzy Trelinski, Piotr Bernacki, Tadeusz Piechura, Grzegorz Kowalski, and numerous others. <br/><br/>As of June 2020, we can trace three copies in North America via KVK, OCLC.
