Large 8vo., rebound in full leather with an intricate black and gilt stamped design, marbled eps, and raised bands on the spine with no jacket. All edges gilt.Very good- (boards bowed, scuffed; edges and corners bumped, rubbed and worn, though the gilt is in excellent shape; hinges beginning to crack; gift inscription, albeit in beautiful handwriting, on flyleaf dated October 29, 1867; plates have left brown ghosts on their tissue covers and following pages; some gilt on the edges is scraped but unbroken). 186pp.
