London: F.V. White & Co, 1899. Good. London: F.V. White & Co., 1899. First Edition. Octavo; [viii], 232pp +16pp publisher's catalog at back. Brown cloth with gilt lettering and blind publisher's logo to back. Boards bumped at corners and spine ends, with a couple waterspots and general smudging to surface and some rubbing along edges. Rear hinge cracked with some exposure along gutter. Front hinge creaky, but both holding. Endpapers heavily toned, with some denting to front pastedown. Opens flatly between gatherings, but binding is sound. Pages toned but unmarked.
