Duell, Sloan and Pearce, New York 1943. A fine copy of the first edition (capital I on copyright page) in the original green cloth with silver spine titling. The book is unworn, clean and unmarked. The dust wrapper retains the original price of $2.50 and is very good with some slight chipping to the spine. This is the second issue jacket with the "non-glamour" photo of the author on the back cover. A beautiful copy.
