Boston: B.B. Russell, 1874. Cloth. Fair/No Jacket. Dark brown cloth. 576 pages. With black and white illustrations throughout, as well as a large color fold-out map of Massachusetts. Alphabetically arranged by town, this work offers a description of the various cities and towns in Massachusetts, including their then current economic situation, short histories of the towns, etc. Cambridge, Boston, Concord, Plymouth and many others included. FAIR/GOOD condition. Moderate scuffing and fading to the cloth, with minor to moderate soiling and a few small stains. Heavy fading to the spine. Heavy scuffing along the extremities with the cloth frayed and worn at the tips of the spine and corners. Interior solid with mostly minor scattered soiling and foxing throughout. Fold-out map rather worn, with several large tears, as well as some crude tape repairs. Tape yellowed and falling off. Odor present from the tape.
