Kyoto, Japan: N.p., 1926. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 28 pages. Hardcover bound in decorative patterned cloth with ribbon ties along the spine. There is light wear to the binding. The cloth covers are delicate and very slightly frayed at the edges. Corners are bumped. Outer edges of the text block are toned and foxed. There is foxing to the end papers and some sporadic light brown spotting throughout the text. There is a fold out illustration between pages 10 and 11 which is heavily foxed, and the adjacent pages show moderate foxing. The text is otherwise clean and sound. Illustrated with black and white prints and photographs and one tipped-in color plate.
