About This Item
Munchen: Duncker & Humblot, 1932. Assume 1st ed. . Soft cover. Fair/Poor. 16 Cms x 24 Cms. Grey car with jacket, both detached at front, spine faded, numerous small edge nicks, but actually quite clean, text-block nearly split down the middle. xxi + 635 + (9. pub. list); half-title detached, 3 ll. pencil note below Part 1 title (p.xxi) and pencil columns of numbers (apparently p. numbers) below text on p.xx, main text-block seems clean and unmarked but spotted the occ. sm. pencil marginalium. Generally in fairly dire condition, but this slightly offset by slipped in 2 pp. print-out from The Memory Hole site of a translation of Keynes's Foreword to the German e.d of his General Theory, dated 5/5/2011 and an unopened letter to Quaritch Rare Books from Wolfgang Somary in Switzerland, post-marked 13.04 11-18, so a little mystery there. First English ed. was 1930, this has an additional 1931-dated Foreword/Vorwort by Keynes (pp.vii - xiv) for the German edition. Uncommon in UK. Sold not subject to return.
