London: T.J. Allman, 1860. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Bound in burgundy cloth with elaborate gilt decorations and titles on the front and imprinted on the back board, with bevelled edges. Faded gilt title on the spine, which has a crease along its length. Gilt page edges on all sides. All the very beautiful hand coloured plates appear to be present though some are detached. The frontispiece and title page are a little spotted and marked, the title page is also detached. The other plates are all in superb condition.
