Original quarter calf over paper covered boards, with later typescript paper spine label and new endpapers. [26 cm.] Good plus. A few stains to covers; scattered foxing. SECOND EDITION, ENLARGED AND IMPROVED. The first edition of this form book was issued in 1822, with the title beginning: "Precedents for the Use of Justices of the Peace ... " Later editions had the title: "Getz's Forms ... " George Getz (1789-1853) was also the proprietor of "The Berks and Schuylkill Journal," and served as the mayor of Reading from 1849 until his death. AI 44472.
