Book NEVER OPENED. GIFT QUALITY. Book Interior AS NEW/ Covers Fine / Dust Jacket Not Issued. Sewn binding. Coated Paper. Boards and spine are green cloth, lettering gilt, embossed animals on front in burgundy. Book and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, one slightly bent corner tip, one corner tip with a slight dent on side bur corner is not bent, one corner tip slightly bruised with no paper broken and corner is straight, no spine creases, a very thin darkish line x 1 3/4 inch L on edge of front spine from rubbing adjacent book on shelf. Page edges not sunned, clean and bright. Front end paper is a two page colour map of Zoo-geographic Regions Of The World. Back end paper is a two page colour map of Biotic Areas Of North America. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Owner’s name, small in ink on front inner paper, four small ink words same. Fabulous book for the study of animals. Lots of Black/white photos, colour diagrams, tables. Contents include General Animal Biology i.e. Protoplasm, Cells and Tissues, Chemistry of Life, Digestive Systems, Circulatory Systems, etc. (14 Chapters); and The Animal Kingdom i.e. by Phylum and Class (22 Chapters). My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
