A very good copy of the first UK edition of this classic book that was made into the film starring Marilyn Monroe. In original binding, red patterned cloth, with title to front board and cream cloth spine. The front of the original dust-wrapper pasted to the fep. Indication of the removal of a bookplate on reverse of fep. "Intimately illustrated by Ralph Barton", these illustrations have a charm and are very amusing. Overall a nice clean copy. 217pp..
