Top front corner bumped. New endpapers. Inside some light tanning, one corner a little turned over crease. Bookplate on front endpaper (The Society of Genealogists). Inscription on second blank page. Else clean & tight. Size 8.75 x 5.25 inches Text Title, verso blank 710pp With map & a few vignettes. including various indexes. Each month has a nice large engraving at the beginning, with a list of contents underneath. Scarce journal with lots of fascinating information on all subjects historical, literary, scientific and others. CONTENTS INCLUDE: Proceedings and Debates in the Senate of Lilliput. Battle of Toulon - fleet formations. etc. etc. Illustrations include Plan of the City of Edinburgh 512 & engraving Wright’s Comet disproven 200, Fleets Mediterranean 174, View of Carlisle 675, Plan of the Battle of Gladsmuir 522.
