Fourth Edition. Eighteenth-century calf with ruled lines and modest border ornamentations to both boards. Without endsheets; title-page with the early name of Jonathan Powell.
Early eighteenth-century treatise of the care of horses written, in fact, by William Burdon and not Henry Bracken, here seen as Blacken.) The work proved quite popular and was reprinted many times throughot the eighteenth century in both England and America.
