About This Item
London: Edward Arnold, 1949. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Very Good -/No Jacket. Red cloth with gilt spine lettering; clean and unworn but spine quite faded with a few very tiny black specks. viii + 764, 26 'Maps and Sections', 15 being unfolding maps ex-pagination (not coloured); no obvious internal faults. 1st pub. 1921, this 2nd ed. was completed a few weeks before author's death and seen through the press with a few minor amendments by Edwin H. Pascoe. Does not include UK coverage, this being felt unnecessary. Despite title the content is very thorough and hardly imperialist in nature.15 cm x 22 cm
