London: Printed for H.M. Stationery office, 1881. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 1881, 1st Edition. 8vo, 184pp plus pull out colour map, pull out geological survey and 5 extra plates. Hardcover issued without dust jacket. Quarter calf binding in good condition with some rubbing to edges and tips with a few marks to boards. Inside previous owners bookplate on paste down, pull out coloured map and survey both present and in very good condition, some minor foxing and yellowing of pages but otherwise a lovely tight clean copy.
