VG orange wraps w/ black plastic comb binding. 8 original photographs attached to report several with overlays documenting geological changes. 'SB/Sally/Bob' written to cover. Pages all clean. Fold-out maps. Binding solid. 14 pp. Sarah Beanland's Geological research marked her as a pioneer. She did extensive study in Earthquake research. Her work became the standard reference on the faulting that caused California's third largest Earthquake. She was active in the Geological Survey of New Zealand, produced over 22 scientific publications and over 60 research and commercial reports. Her life was cut short in 1996 when she drowned in the Mangahao River. A prestigious Scholarship has been set up in her name..
