Large book - size approx. 9-1/2" x 12". 36 full-color reproductions and over 130 reproductions in black and white. Very clean rust red cloth boards with gold image of Native American on horseback on cover, gold lettering on spine. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound, pages and edges are clean. Clean endpapers - no names, writing or bookplates. Beautiful full-color frontispiece portrait of George Catlin. 216 pages with index. Clean dust jacket is unchipped, not price clipped, two short closed edge tears.
