Harper & Brothers, 1885 Complete in three volumes. Green pebbled cloth with facsimile gilt signature on cover, gold gilt title on spine. Frontispiece portrait of Eliot with tissue in volume one, frontispiece of Miss Evans, with tissue in volume two and frontispiece of house at Cheyne Walk, also with tissue. Bumped corners on all volumes. Light rubbing and frayed spine ends on all volumes. Red top stain to edge. Tight binding. Chocolate endpapers with previous owner's name in pencil; otherwise clean interior.. Hardcover. Very Good.
