San Francisco: Privately printed, 1937. First edition of the biography of Vance, an editor at the San Francisco publishing house of Taylor & Taylor. Small octavo. Frontispiece portrait, 26 pp. Publisher's quarter green cloth over marbled boards, gilt spine lettering. Inscribed by the author on the front blank. Offsetting to front blank where a piece of paper had been laid in. An excellent copy.
