Cover has blind stamped monogram and spine has gilt title and decoration. Each volume illustrated with reproductions of original documents, portraits, maps, and plans. Vol.1 xxvi 549pp. Vol. 2 vii 464pp. Blue/green slipcase with portrait of washing ton on one side and a label describing the volumes on the other. Title label on the back of the slipcase.<br><br>CONDITION: Covers have moderate wear. Pages are crisp and clean. Binding and text block are sound. Slipcase has heavy rubbing and some soiling. Top seams have come apart at the front edge. Full refund if not satisfied.
