Winterthur: Steinerschen Buchhandlung, 1792-1794. Hardback. Very Good. German 2 volume set (three volumes bound as two hardback books), published between 1792 to 1794, in gilt tooled full brown leather bindings, the spines with five raised bands, gilt decoration and leather gilt title labels. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards rubbed, title label to volume one faded and volume two slightly chipped, spines a touch faded. Bindings tight and appears almost unopened - hinges sound. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - neat contemporary ownership signature to the lower edged of front endpaper in each volume and small stamp to title page in each volume; marbled page-ends a little darkened but text (old High German), illustrated title page to volume two and marbled endpapers bright and clear throughout. Volume 1: Geschichte Von Grossbritannien und Ireland, Von Der Aufhebung des lezten Parlamentes unter Karl dem Zweiten bis auf die Wegnahme der französischen und spanischen Flotten zu Vigo; Volume 2: Geschasste Von Grossbritannien und Ireland, unter der Regierung Jacobs de Zweiten; Volume Three: Geschichte Von Grossbritannien und Ireland, unter der Regierung Wilhelms des Dritten.
