Illustrated guidebook to the African nation of Ghana, prepared for the expatriate, English-speaking community there. Includes a shopping guide to the capital and largest city, Accra, a merchant directory, and maps.

Includes helpful chapters on the country's government and courts, "Health Hints," "Income Taxation," "Role of Ghanaian Women in Society," music, theatre, etiquette, "Funeral Rites," "Juju," and cuisine (with recipes). Helpful information is provided on domestic help, clothing, and postal and telephone rates. There are maps for the cities of Accra and Tema, a map of the campus of the University of Ghana, and a language and dialect map of the country.  Beautifully bound in traditional, wax block printed cloth.
