Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1939. Hardcover. Good. 1939. First Edition. 167 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Green cloth covered boards. Signed by the author with date to half title page. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Sunning to spine. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a moderate forward lean. Damp staining to spine.
