London: Metheun & Company, 1939. Hardcover. Fine/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Smaller, sturdy book, fine blue cloth, light blue lettering very fine on spine, a small sticker for Foyle's Bookstore at Charing Cross Road at bottom inside front cover, a neat brief 1939 gift note at top first front end paper, 167 lightly browned pages plus several ads for Morton's many books, full-page photographs throughout. DJ beneath mylar with dark blue background, light blue and white lettering, a light-blue bar design at bottom front behind author's name. DJ has slight surface wear to tips, spine top and bottom edges, and very slight along both spine folds. Fair DJ/Fine book.
