New York: Appleton-Century-Crofts, 1969. Hardcover. Very Good+. 152 pp, including Bibliography of the Virgil Pendleton Gibney 1876-1920. Pictorial brown cloth boards have a few bumps. Binding tight and square, contents clean. Bookplate reading "Compliments of the Hospital for Special Surgery" on front free endpaper. Gibney (b. 1847) was an orthopedic surgeon and was the second Surgeon in Chief at the Hospital for the Ruptured and Crippled (renamed the Hospital for Special Surgery in 1940).
