About This Item
Toronto: Art Metropole, 2009. First Edition. No Binding. Near Fine. Art Metropole gift box, edition of 20. Each box contains a selection of 4 multiples produced by participating artists Stephen Andrews, Bill Burns, James Carl, Janis Demkiw, Andy Fabo, Aaron Flint Jamison / Veneer Magazine, Amy Lam, Tanya Mars, Jason Mclean & Mark Delong, Sandy Plotnikoff, Seth Scriver, Cheryl Sourkes and Derek Sullivan. A note taped to the inside flap lists Lam, Sourkes, Andrews and Fabo as contributors to this particular gift box, with this copy identified as 20/20. Besides the four items this box should contain are 8 other items the previous owner added to the box, some clearly AM, others uncertain. Included here: 3D glasses; framed image; printed note pad titled "A Theater Piece: Spinoza in Las Vegas"; Doodle, by Andy Fabo; "Reptile Brain" Amy Lam; USELESS OXYDS, printed envelope; Veneer 03 Magazine; Stephen Andrews, Cartoon [flipbook], signed 3/12; CD [Compact Disc]; Swivel wheel; USB; Button designed by Robert Fones "I am an Art Metropole dog." All housed in a gift box painted by Seth Scriver. The Veneer magazine curled and bent, the box with very light wear to the corners, else in great shape.
