Hardback: beautifully illustrated in colour by the author, laminated colour pictorial boards, edges slightly darkened, pages clean, vg+. 4to, unpaginated. The Spaniards brought the horse to North America, the Indian Tribes believe that the Great Spirit sent the horse to help them in the buffalo hunt. Dogs were useful in many ways, but the horse was seen as a miraculous or sacred dog.
