A First UK Printing published by MacGibbon and Kee in 1962. The BOOK is in Very Good++ or better condition. Rough cut pages.Very minor bumping of the rear corners. Hint of pushing at the spine tips. The black titling remains bright. Some dustiness to the text block with a little light spotting to the page edges in places. The fragile thin paper WRAPPER is price-clipped and is in VERY GOOD++ condition. Some minor edge wear and creasing to the spine ends. Minor soiling to the rear panel and the spine ends. No loss of colouring to the spine. The Kenneth Burrows designed wrapper artwork looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival protector. The book has been SIGNED by DAVID LODGE to the title page and a ticket for the signing event accompanies this title as provenance.
