Originally issued with a wraparound band, no wraparound band is present. Condition: Very good, with very light shelfwear to covers. No inscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Good, with light shelfwear. Small tear to head of spine of jacket. A couple of light creases to inner flap of front cover of jacket. 160pp. Many colour illustrations. This book contains details and images of a collection of paintings by the Italian painter Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964). It was originally planned to be published as an exhibition catalogue for the exhibition "Giorgio Morandi: Dialogue with Morandi: From De Chirico to Fontana", which was scheduled to be held in Japan in 2011, but was unfortunately canceled due to the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 3 of that year. In addition to about 11 Morandi works, it contains scenes from the artist's studio by photographer Luigi Gilli and multifaceted texts. .
