Longmans, Green and Co, 1938. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1938. First edition thus. 186 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Red cloth with gilt titles to spine. Expected library inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Very faint water staining to upper margins. Many dog-eared corners. Gutters cracked. Occasional heavy foxing and marking. Faint creases to some pages. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Slight water staining and mottling. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is bright.
