New York: Coward-McCann, Inc., 1968. First Edition. Very near fine in dark blue cloth covered boards withfaded gilt text stamping on the spine. An octavo of 8 3/4 by 5 3/4 inches with printed and map end sheets. In a very good, unclipped dust jacket with rubbing at the corners of the upper edge of the spine area and with a 1/4" hole in the front panel. 269 pages containing appendices, text, maps and three sections of photographs. This is the first American edition as stated on the copyright page.
